In an article which we didn't have time to translate or rewrite, developers in Valencia region mount an attack against the AUN for publicising the human rights abuses perpetrated under the region's Land Grab laws.
The title of this week's story, Greenpeace Blamed for La Manga Deluge, tells you all you need to know about the relationship between Murcia's developers and Greenpeace.
I doubt that either of these groups of developers will prevail in the end but I am surprised they think that their strong-arm retaliations are an effective way forward.
In Valencia, if they directed their efforts towards negotiating laws which respect individual human rights while protecting the commercial interests of developers, more people would buy property there.
In Murcia, if there is a real threat of rising sea levels adversely affecting the area, why wouldn't developers work with environmentalists to find a solution? If they did, more people would feel secure about buying property there.
I'm sure there are a million counter arguments to my childish-reasoning which begin with the words "Yes but .." I fear though, that neither of these groups of developers are actually looking for a solution - just a scapegoat.
I say that because, even if the activists and environmentalists are 100% wrong and the developers are, in fact, squeaky-clean tree-hugging planet-savers, their tactics are ineffective in today's world of information accessibility. In short, their actions make them look guilty - and that's how the buying public will judge them.
These developers do a great disservice to their colleagues in the industry who operate transparently, professionally and legally, and with respect for individuals and the environment - while simultaneously making a profit.
