A recent study carried out by property portal, Idealista.com revealed that a street in Marbella, “Calle Granados”, has the most expensive rental homes in Spain, with an average price for renting these luxury villas of 26,667 euros per month. The study showed that the majority of the most expensive streets in Spain in which to lease a home are located in Marbella, Barcelona, Madrid and Ibiza, where the rental prices range anywhere between 26,600 euros and 10,000 euros per month.
Calle Monestir, in the Pedralbes district of Barcelona, has monthly rental prices in excess of 20,000 euros (with an average of 21,333 euros), while the Avenida Tibidabo, also in the city of Barcelona, has an average rental price of 14,372 euros per month. El Paseo de Los Lagos, the luxury estate in La Finca de Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), ranks in fourth place for rental prices, with an average of 13,855 euros per month.
According to the portal’s ranking, Avenida Miraflores, in Madrid’s well-known development of Puerta de Hierro, stands in fifth position with an average rental price of 13,488 euros per month, followed by Guadalmina Baja in Marbella, with an average price of 12,600 euros, and Camino del Sur in the exclusive Moraleja district of Madrid, with 11,400 euros.
Closing the top ten ranking of the most expensive rental homes in Spain, are, at number seven, the Avenida Joan Carles I, opposite the Puerto Deportivo Marina on the Balearic island of Ibiza, where the average home rental costs 10,624 euros per month, followed by the rental housing in Madrid’s Paseo del Conde los Gaitanes in La Moraleja where average prices reach 10,280 euros per month, and Calle Triana, in the Pío XII district, at 10,014 euros per month.
